Ephrat - No One's Words

Eprhat: Omar Ephrat: guitars, flute, keyboards
Lior Seker: vocals
Gili Rosenberg: bass
Tomer Z: drums

EPHRAT are a fairly young band in the world of heavy progressive music.
"Omar EPHRAT is very much aware of his Israeli band's heritage and is not afraid to use it. He acknowledges that the country is a mixture of European and Middle Eastern, old and new traditions, and this works its way into the band's music. Heavy metal riffage mingles freely with Eastern synth passages, and medieval acoustics stand toe-to-toe with techno beats. This eclectic nature is molded into a sound that reflects some of EPHRAT's favorite bands: classic progressive outfits like KING CRIMSON, JETHRO TULL and ELP; and more modern, heavier influences like PORCUPINE TREE, SOUNDGARDEN and Alanis MORISSETTE. All in all, EPHRAT is a diverse band that should appeal to anyone who likes their prog with a heavier bent."
Once more, Steven Wilson (PT), is responsable for giving light to this great project.

Enjoy
